Nick Briggs for the next Doctor Who showrunner, please?

You think RTD and the Moff ripped your hearts out, just wait until he gets hold of them.

*cackles* Yes, let this happen.

(For those that don’t know and don’t get Big Finish audios (shame on you!), Nick Briggs isn’t just a good actor and the voice of the Daleks. He’s also a writer and the executive producer of Big Finish alongside Jason Haigh-Ellery. He wrote a hell of a lot of emotionally traumatizing — but really amazing — stories.)

I’m never sure whether I want Nick Briggs as the showrunner because I never want him to leave Big Finish but yes. No one can do emotional trauma as well as he does.

…Hmm, well maybe Alan Barnes can, it’s a tough contest. I guess that explains why Orbis is so painful, though.
